The dynamic

These two recognise each other's seriousness at once: both believe love is a thing done daily, with sleeves rolled. The Builder does it in beams and budgets — provision, repair, the bills paid early; the Caretaker does it in atmosphere — meals, beauty, the tending of every heart in the house. Together they can raise the most solid domestic life in numerology. The engine of the bond is shared devotion to the same project, built from different materials. The built-in test is translation between those materials. The 4 says I love you by fixing the gutter and saying nothing; the 6 needs love spoken, felt, returned in warmth — and reads silence as absence.
